Up one/Down one and MAG scratched

With the Sabres splitting weekend games with the Panthers and Rangers, we may have learned a few things.

1 - Maybe Jhonas Enroth isn't all that and a bag of chips. Enroth certainly didn't get any help with the Sabres giving up 2 shorties versus the Rangers and the offense didn't help him by only putting one past Marty Biron, but Enroth hasn't been the same dominant 1a he was last year and earlier this year since Miller was run by Lucic.

2 - MSG needs to get better fact checkers/stats guys. The Sabres are now 5-3 in the back end of back-to-back games this season. Why they kept saying that the Sabres were unbeaten in those spots is beyond me.

3 - The Sabres need scoring depth and guys like Derek Roy and Drew Stafford need to step up and start producing. And Tyler Ennis' 2 pts in 12 games isn't cutting it, either.

With Paul Gaustad and Mike Weber healthy, we may see Marc-Andre Gragnani in the press box. That would be a good idea to me. His boneheaded turnover in OT versus the Flyers was a benchable offense to me. And it was hardly his first of the season. Gragnani has nice offensive upside. But, he needs to get a lot smarter with the puck.
